Terms of Service

1. The service

Arakis is an AI-assisted systematic review platform. It searches literature databases, screens and extracts studies, runs statistical analyses, and drafts review manuscripts. AI output requires human review: you are responsible for verifying every result before relying on it or submitting it for publication.

2. Billing

Subscription checkout is not available on this deployment. No card trial or automatic renewal is currently offered here. If subscriptions are enabled later, the current price, trial, renewal, cancellation, and allowance terms will be shown before checkout.

3. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". AI-generated screening decisions, extractions, statistics, and prose can contain errors. Arakis is a drafting and acceleration tool, not a substitute for expert methodological judgment, and is not medical advice.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to your research questions, protocols, and generated manuscripts. You grant us the limited license required to operate the service (storing, processing, and displaying your content to you).

Public review library: unless you tick "Keep this review private" when starting a review, or later make it private from the review page, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish the completed review's title, abstract and completion date on the public Arakis review library, labelled as AI-generated and not peer reviewed. Making a review private removes it from the library at the next daily site rebuild. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is published.

5. Acceptable use

No abuse of trial limits, scraping, reverse engineering, or use that violates law or third-party rights. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms, with notice where practicable. Subscription charges already incurred remain payable.
