Terms of Service

1. The service
Arakis is an AI-assisted systematic review platform. It searches literature databases, screens and extracts studies, runs statistical analyses, and drafts review manuscripts. AI output requires human review: you are responsible for verifying every result before relying on it or submitting it for publication.
2. Billing
Your first review is free and requires no payment method. To create further reviews you must save a card via our payment processor, Stripe. Each completed review is charged at the price shown at the time you start it (currently $9), only after the review finishes. Promotional credit, when granted, is applied before your card.
Money-back guarantee: you may request a full refund of any charge within 30 days from your billing settings. Later refund requests are handled by support@arakis.ai.
3. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". AI-generated screening decisions, extractions, statistics, and prose can contain errors. Arakis is a drafting and acceleration tool, not a substitute for expert methodological judgment, and is not medical advice.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to your research questions, protocols, and generated manuscripts. You grant us the limited license required to operate the service (storing, processing, and displaying your content to you).
5. Acceptable use
No abuse of trial limits, scraping, reverse engineering, or use that violates law or third-party rights. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms, with notice where practicable. Charges already incurred for delivered reviews remain payable.
